About Brandon
Brandon grew up in Southern California, where he discovered his passion for golf and quickly became fascinated by how people learn and improve. That passion led him to the PGA Golf Management Program at Penn State University, where he earned his degree, became a PGA Member, and developed a strong foundation in coaching, kinesiology, and player development. While working alongside the team at the Penn State Golf Teaching and Research Center, Brandon studied golf biomechanics, motor learning, and skill acquisition, learning how science and technology can be used to better understand athletic performance and accelerate learning. Today, Brandon's coaching philosophy extends beyond traditional instruction. He specializes in motor learning, effective practice design, and long-term athletic development, helping golfers build skills that transfer to the golf course and stand up under pressure. His goal is not only to help players improve their technique, but also to become better learners, more adaptable competitors, and more effective athletes. As Assistant Director of KOHR Golf Academy and Assistant Coach of the Bentley University Men's Golf Team, Brandon continues to study and apply the latest research in coaching science and performance development. He is passionate about helping players of all ages and abilities reach their potential through evidence-based coaching and purposeful practice.
